An Intersangha Presentation

How Community Village attracts young people to its sangha

A special BIN presentation featuring Nina Raddy and Caleb Tenenbaum, founders of Community Village.

What do younger people experience when they visit our sanghas?

Are they welcomed or ignored? Are they given guidance or just expected to know what to do? Are they intimidated by the elders or inspired by them? Are older sangha members so delighted to see someone younger that they overwhelm them, almost pinching their cheeks?

This topic has often come up in our monthly Intersangha Teas on Zoom. (The third Friday of every month. If you are an Insight meditation teacher or sangha leader, join us!) Nina Raddy and Caleb Tenenbaum of Community Village clearly had answers! So, working with BIN Board member Steve Williger, they created an online presentation to share their insights and experiences that exceeded all expectations. If you were unable to attend, here is the video.
